when a trap is set off the effect of the trap occurs with the target being the character that set it off; if a trap is placed but never set off, then at the end of the level it is returned to the character that placed it; if a non-levitating character moves onto a trap or otherwise exists on a trap it is set off; by default, traps are not destroyed when set off and so may be triggered multiple times on the same board; ******************* *** Light Traps *** light traps are not set off by rogues; you may carry up to 10 light traps in-level; 0g Set Light Trap - pay 1 action: 1 range, set a light trap on target space, may target the space you are on 2g Darts - when set off: 3 damage, ranged type, this is destroyed 2g Pit - when set off: 5 damage; this may be seen at infinite range LOS 2g Falling Rocks - when set off: 2 damage 1 push back, there is now a 5 HP barrier on this spac; this trap is destroyed after being set off; 3g Gas - when set off: all spaces at or within 1 range (diagonals) (no blast shadow) are gassed until the end of your next 3 turns, any character in gas is immediately downed until they are no longer in gas; this trap is destroyed after being set off; ******************* *** Heavy Traps *** you may carry up to 5 light traps in-level; 0g Set Heavy Trap - pay 1 action: 1 range, set a heavy trap on target space, may target the space you are on 5g Bomb - when set off: 10 damage 2 push back, 4 damage 1 push back at 1, 2 damage at 2 radius; this trap is destroyed after being set off; 5g Electricutor - when set off: 3 damage 1 push back, target character skips their next turn 7g Irradiator - when set off: target character is now irradiated; irradiated characters take 1 damage at the beginning of each of their turns until the end of the board; this trap is destroyed after being set off; ************** *** Cloaks *** ************** you may only bring one cloak onto the board at a time 70g Cloak of Shadows - improve your Hide ability by 1 range; gain evasion 1/2; you do not have to show your starting position at the beginning of each board; while hidden you may be moved through and damaged without coming out of hiding; if an attack moves through you while you are hidden it does not hit you; 60g Cloak of Protection - all damage from ballistic, melee, and ranged type attacks to you is ignored 40g Cloak of Many Men - you may use items you have stolen from other characters; you have 6 MP, 6 max.
